Nitansha is a counsel at Singularity Legal. She holds an LL.M. in Commercial Law from the University of Cambridge (2024).
Her range of experience includes advising clients in their cross-border disputes in arbitrations under various rules such as SIAC. She also represents athletes in anti-doping and other sports disputes before Indian courts. She has previously worked for a full-service law firm in New Delhi, where she represented and advised clients across various sectors on their liability and compliance under the Indian indirect tax regime. She also has a passion for advising on art law.

- Representing an Indian trading company in an arbitration in relation to the sale of cotton yarn to a Hong Kong-based buyer under two sales orders (SIAC Rules, Singapore seated, English law)

- Representing an Indian powerlifting athlete who was tested positive for doping at the National Senior (Men & Women) Equipped Powerlifting Championship 2023, India (Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court and Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel)
- Represented an Indian rubber manufacturer in a dispute involving alleged wrongful availment of central excise credit under the erstwhile Indian central excise duty laws (Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal)
- Represented a Japanese automobile company in disputes involving alleged wrongful availment of input tax credit under the Indian Central Goods and Service Tax Act (Indian Department of Revenue)
- Represented a global food aggregator in a dispute involving the imposition of service tax on online advertising services under the erstwhile Indian service tax regime (Indian Department of Revenue)
- Represented a French security services company in a dispute involving alleged wrongful availment of input tax credit under the Indian Central Goods and Service Tax Act (Indian Department of Revenue)
- Represented a global electric wire and cable manufacturer in a dispute involving the imposition of tax liability under the Indian Central Goods and Service Tax Act (Indian Department of Revenue)
- Represented a global health research and innovation organisation in a dispute involving the denial of refund of service tax credits availed for services provided to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation under the erstwhile Indian service tax regime (Indian Department of Revenue)
- Represented a Kazakhstan-based construction company in a dispute involving the alleged default in payment of service tax under the erstwhile Indian service tax regime (Indian Department of Revenue)

Tax
- Advised a global proprietary trading firm on the implications of supplying trading algorithms to their Indian group entity for conducting proprietary trading on Indian stock exchanges under the Indian Central Goods and Service Tax Act
- Advised a leading Indian paper manufacturer and companies in the packaged food industry on the correct classification of their products under Indian customs laws
- Advised a leading Indian automotive solutions company on determining the place of supply of services and issuing correct tax invoices under the Indian Central Goods and Service Tax Act
- Advised an Indian lithium-ion cell importer under the Indian Goods and Service Tax regime and Customs laws
- Advised a general insurance company on the implications of their transactions with various entities and on reversing tax credits on destroyed machinery under the Indian Central Goods and Service Tax Act

- Advised Indian art collectors on the status of artworks and registration requirements under the Indian Art Treasures and Antiquities Act 1972
- Advised an award-winning Indian artist on issues of copyright ownership, payment terms and liquidated damages in an agreement with an international airport for commissioning an art installation
- Advised a New York-based artist on a consignment agreement with an art gallery in Los Angeles
- Advised an Indian collector on the sale of rare heirloom medieval scrolls to a prominent Indian art gallery
- Advised a Dubai-based art collector on the valuation and sale of a collection of original Raja Ravi Varma paintings to a UK-based entrepreneur
